Quality control in the food industry is a complex process, essential to ensure that raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products comply with current regulations, internal standards, and customer specifications.

The digitalization of these processes has become a strategic factor, capable of simplifying and streamlining the entire quality control chain: from defining sampling plans, to selecting the laboratory (internal or external) responsible for analysis, and finally to collecting and evaluating analytical data required for batch release or rejection, as well as managing Non-Conformities, both internal and supplier-related.

All of this is fully integrated with the company’s ERP and MES systems, ensuring data consistency and traceability across the entire supply chain.

Through the case study of Euro Company Spa, the session will present the objectives, project decisions, and results achieved with the implementation of AYAMA — in terms of automation, control, and responsiveness within both analytical and process quality management.
